The Green Card Company is a young company, established to provide choice in greetings cards and related stationery. We want to dispel the myth that recycled cards are more expensive and not as good as their counterparts made from virgin fibre. More than that, we believe good design and competitive prices do not mean a compromise on environmental commitment.
Our products demonstrate that it is entirely possible for design-led, high quality stationery to be on recycled paper or card and produced in an environmentally responsible manner. We are small but determined to grow and to offer that choice as widely as possible. As the technology evolves, we continue to research quality board and paper with sound environmental credentials. We also try to keep our processes as simple as possible, from design through to production and delivery, in order to minimise waste and transport miles. We also believe in putting something back into society. Our personalised Christmas cards include a 20% donation to the charity of the purchaser's choice via the Charities Aid Foundation. This is on the total order, not just the card cost, and is a higher percentage than on most, if not all, charity cards. As we develop we will be further strengthening links with charitable and voluntary organisations. We work with like minded people to produce a quality product with top environmental credentials.
